The 26th edition of the Ghana Music Awards (#TGMA26) was filled with excitement, surprises, and unforgettable performances. One of the biggest moments of the night was when King Promise was awarded the prestigious Artiste of the Year title, beating out stiff competition from Stonebwoy and King Paluta. It was a well-deserved win for the talented artist, whose music has captivated audiences all over Ghana.
But King Promise wasn’t the only winner of the night. Empress Gifty, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Esther Godwyll, Kweku Smoke, KiDi, Team Eternity Ghana, and Tulenkey all took home awards in various categories. From Best Male Vocal performance to Best Collaboration, the winners represented the best of the Ghanaian music industry.
One of the most touching moments of the night was when Gospel artiste Yaw Sarpong was honored with a Lifetime Achievement award for his contributions to the gospel music industry. His dedication and talent have inspired many, and it was only fitting that he was recognized for his incredible impact.
The night kicked off with a stunning performance by Ayisi, followed by Yaw Darling, who won Unsung Artiste of the Year. The energy in the room was electric as Empress Gifty, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Stonebwoy, King Promise, and King Paluta graced the stage with their unforgettable performances.
