Mr. Bilami urged critics to undertake proper investigations before making public statements, stressing that discussions about extending the contract should be based on national interest rather than partisanship. He also highlighted the administration’s focus on revitalising the economy and supporting businesses that contribute meaningfully, regardless of political affiliation.
In addition, a new seven-member Governing Board for the NLA has been inaugurated, with the aim of providing strategic oversight and policy direction as the Authority continues efforts to boost revenue generation and comply with its statutory responsibilities.
