ECG announces planned maintenance: These areas will be affected on March 13- 14

As the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) gears up for planned maintenance works in the Greater Accra and Tema regions, residents in several areas will experience temporary interruptions in power supply on May 13 and 14, 2025. These maintenance operations are crucial for enhancing service reliability and ensuring stable electricity supply across affected communities.

On Tuesday, May 13, power will be interrupted in various locations in Greater Accra and Tema regions. Residents in areas such as Pokuase Pharmacy, Amanfrom, Nii Ayii, Old Barrier, Jomef, Community 9 Market, Devtraco and many others are advised to expect service disruptions between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

The scheduled works will continue on Wednesday, May 14, with power outages expected in locations like Abeka, Haatso, Community 25, Hot Oven, China Mall, Ashaiman Bus Terminal and more from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

While these maintenance activities may cause inconvenience to residents, they are necessary to improve the overall reliability of electricity supply in the regions. ECG engineers will be working diligently to ensure that the maintenance is completed efficiently and quickly.
