IDF pounds Houthi ports in Yemen, threatens to kill leader, after missile, drone attacks

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has taken swift and decisive action against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, following a string of missile and drone attacks on Israel. In a series of coordinated airstrikes on Friday, IDF fighter jets targeted the Houthi-controlled ports of Hodeidah and Salif, dealing a severe blow to the terror group’s infrastructure.

According to military estimates, it will take the Houthi rebels at least a month to repair the damage caused by the airstrikes, further crippling their ability to launch attacks on Israel. The IDF deployed fifteen fighter jets, dropping a total of 35 bombs on the ports in a display of overwhelming force.

In a bold and unapologetic move, the IDF has also issued a direct threat to kill Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz made it clear that Israel will not hesitate to eliminate any enemy who poses a threat to its security, including high-ranking terrorist leaders.

This latest wave of airstrikes serves as a clear message to the Houthi rebels and their Iranian backers that Israel will not tolerate acts of aggression against its citizens. The IDF’s swift and precise response demonstrates the country’s unwavering commitment to defending itself against any threat, no matter where it may originate.

As tensions continue to escalate in the region, Israel’s show of strength serves as a reminder to its enemies that the country will not hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to protect its people. The IDF’s actions in Yemen are a clear indicator that Israel will not back down in the face of adversity, and will always defend itself by any means
